Redesigning warranty upload
egaranti manages extended warranty and product protection for consumer electronics and durable goods. I redesigned the product end to end over six months.

- Product designer, end to end

The challenge
Analysis showed a significant drop-off in the consumer warranty document upload flow. User research pointed to too many mandatory fields and a fragmented information architecture that overloaded people right when they needed to act. The e-warranty document was also still new to most people, so the aim included a landing page that explains how it works.
Approach and design decisions
Two sides of one product
I designed both what customers see and what brands see. Brands see their products, their users on egaranti and their records; customers see the devices registered to them and act on them from the same place.

A simpler information architecture
I restructured navigation and screen hierarchy around the tasks consumers and sellers do most: products, customers, contracts and requests.
Fewer fields, same rules
I removed non-essential steps and fields from the main flow while keeping every operational requirement the business depended on. Even when the seller is not on egaranti yet, a consumer can upload the warranty and invoice in seconds.
A foundational design system
In parallel I set up the first design system and UI kit, so the product could scale and a future team could keep it consistent.

The outcome
Measured within three months of launch: completion time fell by about 35% and the completion rate rose by more than 15 percentage points. Over 150 brands run their warranty operations on egaranti, and in October 2026 the company raised $1.1 million in investment.
