I joined Building.tech as the first designer and led the creation of an AI-powered construction budget planning SaaS platform from the ground up. The product aimed to replace manual Excel-based workflows used by contractors and project managers with a more accurate, predictable, and scalable financial decision-support system.
I unified budget planning, proposal generation, and cost estimation flows under a single product vision designed to improve operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
AI-Driven Budget Intelligence
In the construction industry, budgeting processes are heavily dependent on spreadsheets, often resulting in data inconsistencies and inaccurate cost forecasts. At Building.tech, AI was positioned to analyze project plans and generate total cost estimations along with line-item budget distributions.
I translated complex financial outputs into simplified dashboards and structured decision-support flows, ensuring that AI insights were understandable, trustworthy, and actionable for professionals.
